Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) was notified earlier this afternoon that there have been two cases of COVID-19 identified at Cerdon College Merrylands.
With the health and safety of our community as our highest priority, the school will be closed for deep cleaning and to support the NSW Health team with the contact tracing process. Parents, carers and staff have been notified.
Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is working very closely with the Director of Public Health Unit to ensure the health and safety of students and staff are maintained. Students and staff have been advised to self-isolate until receiving further advice from NSW Health.
