From May 16 to May 24, the Diocese of Parramatta, alongside Catholic Earthcare Australia, the Australian Province of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and Campion Centre of Ignatian Spirituality, invite you to celebrate Laudato Si’ Week, which celebrates the fifth anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si’ – care for our common home.

To mark the fifth anniversary, Bishop Vincent has recorded a video message – “go forth! Imagine and enact change in the post COVID-19 world, in your circles of influence.”

During Laudato Si Week, there are many different ways you can participate. A calendar of events encouraging listening, prayer, reflection and participation in Pope Francis’ call to action can be found below.

Keep an eye on Catholic Outlook and on the Diocese of Parramatta’s Facebook and Instagram social media channels throughout this week as we share stories to mark Laudato Si’ Week.
